Firearms First Responder (FFR) is a combined firearms safety and emergency medical course. It is designed to educate and prepare individuals on how to handle and operate firearms safely and learn how to respond with medical treatment during and after a traumatic incident.
The training is based on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines and is presented in the context of a high-risk environment with a focus on safety, preparation, protocol implementation and reality-based training techniques. Tactical care by definition is out-of-hospital care given in hostile situations by trained individuals.
We close the knowledge gap with step-by-step instructions from pre-firearms presentation, safe firearms handling, active incident response, and wound treatment.
